Imhotep Museum

This page contains a few photographs (around 45 in total) of the collection held in the  Imhotep Museum, newly opened at Saqqara. These are no more than snapshots taken through glass cabinets, sometimes in rather low lighting that, thought beautifully highlighting the exhibits, does not always make camera work that easy.  Many thanks to the Imhotep Museum for permission to photograph.

I haven’t managed to provide many captions just yet, but watch this space - I’ve just started adding them. I hope that you enjoy seeing some of the new sights at the wonderful new museum - if you are anywhere near Cairo, Saqqara is always worth the detour, but the museum now adds very real additional value - try not to miss it!
